Common questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
Raka subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not us. Cancel from:
- iPhone / iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Raka → Cancel
- Android: Play Store app → profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Raka → Cancel
(Raka is free at launch — subscriptions return in a future version.)
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app: Settings → Delete account permanently. Or see the full data deletion page.
Raka said something I didn't like / is wrong
Raka is an AI. She generates responses; she doesn't know the future and isn't a therapist, doctor, or lawyer. Treat readings as a mirror, not a forecast. If something felt off, email us — feedback shapes how she's tuned.
Voice transcription isn't working
Make sure microphone permission is granted: iOS Settings → Raka → Microphone. On Android: Settings → Apps → Raka → Permissions → Microphone.
I lost my chat history after reinstalling
Chat history, journal entries, and tarot pulls are stored on-device. They are not backed up to our servers (that's by design — your data stays with you). Reinstalling clears everything. We're working on opt-in cloud backup for a future release.
How do I report a crisis or emergency?
Raka is not a crisis service. If you or someone else is in danger:
- US: 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or text HOME to 741741
- UK: Samaritans 116 123
- Australia: Lifeline 13 11 14
- Elsewhere: your local emergency number
